I purchased an Ipad for my wife and she wanted the 3gs network. So we tried to sign up with our PO box, but the wireless carrier, ATT, said it was not possible. Simply put "due to the taxation and security concerns we are not able to execute a 3gs plan without a valid address". Hmm.. I tried to change my credit card to another address, etc.

You want the answer: Give a fake mailing address. Correct, I picked an address from 15 years ago and I was online in three minutes. With all the advances in broadband, databases, Ajax, Java etc., the only way to establish connection to my Ipad was to use an antique address 1200 miles from my location.

Narrowcasting is loosely defined as the dissemination of information (usually by radio or television) to a narrow audience, not to the general public. (Wikipedia) Narrowcasting occurs when the producer of such television programming assumes that a specific demographic group is interested in a particular subject matter that appeals directly to them.
Today most programming is geared toward the general mass audience but many major networks are increasingly involved in narrowcasting. Program genres such as reality tv, sports, drama, comedy, just to name a few are all content and viewer specific. Networks have segmented these programs that appeal to particular groups into specific time slots, usually back to back.

The terms multicast and narrowcast are often used interchangeably, although narrowcast usually refers to the business model whereas multicast refers to the actual technology used to transmit the data (Inernet.com).

Interface Description

The IGSS32 HMI Adapter communication interface offers connection to SIMATIC S7/300 and S7/400 PLCs using a SIMATIC S7 HMI Adapter and a standard serial RS232 port. The SIMATIC S7 HMI Adapter connects directly to the CPU port on the PLC using MPI protocol. On the PC side the HMI Adapter connects to a standard serial RS232 port.

The IGSS32 system polls the PLC equipment cyclically according to one of four user-defined time intervals. The time intervals are configurable from 100 milliseconds to 999 seconds. The system automatically groups process data in data blocks - thus fully exploiting the the communication link in relation to the present configuration.
